Syntactic Literality in Pierre Klossowski’s Translation of Æneid

O objetivo deste estudo é apresentar e comentar, por meio de um exemplo, o proêmio – o critério básico que definimos como “literalidade sintática” – da tradução do poema épico latino a Eneida, de Virgílio, para o francês por Pierre Klossowski. Utilizamos, como recursos teóricos, tanto a resenha dessa tradução por Michel Foucault, quanto certas proposições de Walter Benjamin no ensaio “A tarefa do tradutor”.
