This article aims to set up a conversation with the writing of the Austrian Thomas Bernhard in particular with his autobiography – his traumatic experience in Second World War – whose title already in Origin snatches of theoretical issues to Walter Benjamin and his Ursprung (origin – first leap) anachronistic. The question of the origin explained by Bernhard seems to move less genesis (Entstehung) descent (Herkunft), than in a dialectical reading of history, through the insertion of the oppressed – movement of redemption – as Benjamin would.
