Abstract

This essay investigates the relation between the discussion on the concept of “sister arts” and the view that Ángel González’s poetry re-elaborates some of the issues presented especially in two of his poems: “Palabras desprendidas de pinturas de José Hernández” (Procedimientos narrativos, 1972) and “El Cristo de Velázquez” (Prosemas o menos, 1985).

Profª Drª Margareth Santos: doctora en Literatura Española por la Universidad de São Paulo, en donde trabaja en el Departamento de Letras Modernas como profesora en la cátedra de Literatura Española. Sus líneas de trabajo comprenden el examen de las relaciones entre literatura, arte, historia y política en el siglo XX, tanto en España como en el contexto iberoamericano en la producción vinculada a la Guerra Civil Española y a la posguerra civil española.
