Nuno Ramos, Sound Aesthetics, Contemporary Brazilian Literature, Portuguese-Italian TranslationAbstract
This article shows the studies of the literary work of Nuno Ramos, propaedeutic to the translation of his work into Italian, demonstrating the importance of basing translation choices on aesthetic parameters identified and considered as central. The aesthetic procedures identified here are situated in the scope of sound aesthetics; it will introduce an installation as an example in comparison with the literature to relate the uses of such procedures. Finally, it will present some translated excerpts as illustrations. It will approach the reappraisal of the sound-noise element as an epistemological turning point, based on reflections of authors such as Jean-Luc Nancy and Cecile Malaspina.
