Resumen

Este artigo analisa o conflito entre pai e filho no romance Heimatroman oder Wie mein Vater ein Deutscher wurde, do escritor alemão Nicol Ljubic, publicado em 2006. Durante uma viagem com seu pai para refazer o caminho da imigração até a Alemanha, o narrador procura compreender seu relacionamento com o pai. Neste trabalho, essa reflexão é discutida em três aspectos: 1) a percepção do corpo paterno e a memória afetiva; 2) as diferenças geracionais e de valores e, por fim, 3) as diferenças culturais no processo de socialização. Os três pontos representam potenciais de conflitos que a voz narrativa procura resolver.
