This interview was crafted as a gesture of listening and sharing with Glória Diógenes, professor, anthropologist, and writer, whose paths intertwine with those of the youth who traverse city streets, dance halls, parties, bleachers, and digital social networks. Glória is a researcher who investigates the city in motion, alongside young people in their gangs and crews, street artists, and young subjects who territorialize urban spaces with desires, inventions, and resistances. The dialogue highlights the webs she weaves with different interlocutors—youth, researchers, and also with theories that bend to lived experience. In this conversation, by revealing her paths and encounters, committed to listening and sharing, we walk with Glória through landscapes of the human and social sciences, of affections, and of literature. The dialogue with our interviewee challenges the fixed gaze and demands a thought in motion, a gesture that inspires those who research youth in their multiple territories of existence and creation.
