El origen de la curiosa expresión bíblica:“¿También está Saúl entre los nabíes?”

Resumen

El trabajo aqui presentado intenta reconstruir el sentido de una curiosa expresión bíblica: "¿También está Saúl entre los nabíes?", la que aparece en dos glosas diferentes: I Samuel 10 y I Samuel 19. A tal fin se hace un recorrido por las características que se pueden reconstruir de estos nabíes expresadas en el dicho, lo que parece se recordaban asociados a movimientos extáticos, coreografías grupales y rituales de sacrificio y adivinación, relacionados a fechas específicas. Ahondando en estas fechas, rituales y especialmente en el concepto de posesión del espíritu de Yahvé se sugiere la hipótesis de que los mismos expresaban la existencia de una religión yahvista pre-deuteronómica, cuyas manifestaciones se fueron desvaneciendo o deslegitimando con la imposición del código sacerdotal. De esta manera, la expresión alude a la necesidad disciplinante de evitar prácticas indecorosas que se consideran ahora pecado y abominación, tanto como la consternación y el temor que despiertan rituales ancestrales, a los que se desea reprimir o adecuar a las nuevas prácticas religiosas exílicas y post-exílicas
