Abstract

Information systems assessment (ASI) is an issue of interest to all areas of knowledge that are concerned with meeting the needs of users who make more and more frequent use of the most diverse information systems. Some of these areas are Information Science (CI) and Information Systems (SI). In this context, the present work aims to present some ASI methodologies used in the perspective of CI and SI. As methodological procedures, a bibliographic survey was carried out on the scientific productions available in databases and journals in the areas of Information Science and Information Systems, which are part of the CAPES Journal Portal. It is a qualitative research, based on bibliographic research on the theme “evaluation of information systems”. Based on this study, it was possible to highlight some of the IS evaluation models adopted in both fields.
