This article presents reflections and results on didactic experiences about Universal Design at Studio subjects on the Architecture and Urbanism course at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Minas Gerais, Santa Luzia campus. The purpose of choosing the theme for the subjects was to instrumentalize and sensibilize students to the technical and social relevance of the topic, until then not addressed as a focus on project disciplines on campus. The methodologies used were bibliographic and document review, expository and dialogued classes, exercises and orientation in development of projects. The students achieved varied results in deepening the theme and proposals, which can be associated with the short term of the subjects, but the results were considered satisfactory. In conclusion, the theme needs other and larger spaces at this graduation course, for its legal requirement in the professional scope and for its relevance in social inclusion.
