It got up 468 occurrences filed in the period of June of 1999 to May of 2000. Between the occurrences 228 (49%) were referring to the administration of medications, being taken advantage of 168 (74%). It was also collected the date of the error, occurrence shift, section, code of the error in NOA. So, we proceeded to the re-classification based on theoretical framework(9). We observed that most of the errors refers to the omission, potential error of both wrong dose and schedule. Those results will subsidize continuing education programs in the institution.Downloads
