In accordance with Law No. 13,709/2018 (Brazilian General Data Protection Law – LGPD), the personal data provided to the Journal of State Sciences (Revice/UFMG) will be used exclusively for the services rendered by this publication and will not be made available for other purposes or to third parties.

Therefore, both during the submission process and throughout the evaluation stages, the personal data and metadata of authors and reviewers are protected under strict security and confidentiality standards.

Metadata are used solely to ensure proper indexing and the integrity of the editorial workflow. Revice/UFMG guarantees that such records will not be used for commercial tracking activities or shared with external databases.

Under the double-blind review system, the preservation of authors’ identities is prioritized to ensure the impartiality of the evaluation process, guaranteeing that sensitive information remains restricted exclusively to the editorial board.

At the end of the publication cycle, or in the event of archiving, the processing of such data will follow the secure storage or disposal protocols established by the applicable legislation.

The Journal of State Sciences (Revice/UFMG) adopts the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Creative Commons is a non-profit organization responsible for open licenses and other legal tools that allow creators to share their work.

In this regard, by submitting a manuscript for publication, authors acknowledge and authorize the dissemination and publication of their works under the terms of this license.
