Sobre gestos de imagens: deslocando pensamentos

To talk about the gesture in the moving images means taking it since the camera moves, lands-cape colors, the characters’ looks, scenic objects, editing choices, light, sound, speed and frequen-cies’ time and little happenings. The “cinemas of the body” come to qualify and give visibility to thoughts, as audiovisual languages evolve to simultaneous narratives, fragmented and inconclusive, best representing these body performances. This article is about creation processes and pos-sibilities, also bringing examples from my own video pieces.
