Interview conducted with the artist from Minas Gerais, Bruno Cançado (1981-), for Lucas Costa’s PhD research on sculpture and instability. The conversation establishes a dialogue between the authors’ poetics based on artistic procedures. Due to the structural characteristics of these works, the artists approach architecture and popular knowledge – present in civil construction – to discuss the use of these techniques in the sculptural language. In this way, the authors seek to create a link between these types of works and the sculpture tradition.
