The paper examines the place of gestures in Vilém Flusser's thinking from the experience of remote work during the Covid-19 pandemic. To this end, it associatesthe video made by the artist Fred Forest and Vilém Flusser in 1974 with the book Gestures, analyzing the various versions published in different languages and focusing on the uniqueness of the Brazilian version. The text is not conclusive, but a critical analysis in process of the current issues raised by the theory.
