Ecocentric corporeality and expanded dramaturgy in videoecoperformance

This article brings reflections on ecocentric corporeality in dramaturgical practice in an expanded field, articulated with video-ecoperformance, having in perspective the body in a somatic-performative experience and interaction with the nature in natural and urban environments. Practice as Research (PaR) and the somatic-performative approach corroborate the body-nature centering, in which the cognitive, artistic, ecological and human dimensions are fused with power to generate concrete developments beyond videographic work. The dramaturgies of the body and the work are discussed in the light of enactive-ecological approaches of human cognition. Sensorimotor engagement, active search and sensitivity are suggestive cognitive key conditions for the ignition of more elaborate cognitive processes in spectator in the face of the video-ecoperformance for collaborative environmental practices in the global and local spheres.
