Perversion, rebelliousness, and feminist practices in the artistic expressions of Fernanda Magalhães

This work aims to analyze Fernanda Magalhães’ artistic productions according to theperspective of perversions. Photographer, performance, and university teacher, Fernanda Magalhães subverts female body representations and offers other perspectives of meaning to the fat female body in her works. In this case, the perversion will not be treated according to an intention harmful to the public space, on the contrary, it will be understood as manifestations of creativity and daring for the confrontation of marbled power codes.
