La materia como coautora en la producción artística

Este artículo aborda el tema del suelo como agente coproductivo en la práctica artística y el enfoque metodológico, según la producción artística de Onya McCausland (1971-) y Daro Montag (1959-). En este contexto, la performance de la materia contribuye no solo a la estética y lectura de la obra, sino que también está inseparablemente relacionada con el concepto que subyace a ella. Oponiéndose a la concepción de la materia como una tabula rasa subordinada a la inscripción de propósitos externos, aquí se la considera variable y llena de sus propios flujos, resistencias y tensiones. La producción artística que conforma la obra se entiende así como un proceso de co-respuesta, correspondencia y coautoría entre artista y materia, más que como una imposición visual y estética predefinida.
