Abstract

This article was prepared as a partial requirement for completing the second degree course in History at the Centro Universitário de Curitiba. Its objective is to analyze the scientific productions published in the CAPES Bank of Theses, which discuss the relationship between the teaching of history and the new information and communication technologies TICs, published between the years 2015 to 2017. The theoretical contribution of discussions held here, focused on authors such as Chartier (2016); Levy (1998) among others who are dedicated to unveiling the theme highlighted here. We sought to verify which ways that authors of scientific works used TICs in the classroom for teaching history and what were the results obtained. In this way, the work aimed to establish an overview of recent scientific production and the guidelines for reconciling the teaching of history with technological evolution. It was observed that regardless of the platform used, mediation on the part of the teacher is fundamental for the use of TICs as a teaching tool, be fruitful and meaningful.
