Abstract

The present article problematizes the political and identity construction around the being woman as a social subject, that possesses an embodied existence in the society. In carrying out this movement questions the construction of being a woman as a universal subject and exposes the productions made by black women from the beginning of the North American suffragist movement; also proposes to present black feminism and the way in which production from this perspective is potent and important to promote social justice, restore humanities and produce data about the black population. Thus, contributions from authors such as Patricia Hill Collins, Angela Davis, Lélia Gonzalez and Djamila Ribeiro become important in order to think about the connections intended in the proposed text.
