a representação das guerrilheiras do Araguaia em Resistência e o Estado de São Paulo (1970-2000)

Abstract

In this article, we intend to verify how two periodicals published in the 1970s represented differently the guerrillas participating in the Araguaia Guerrilla, an experience of rural armed struggle that occurred between 1966 and 1974, in the southern region of Pará, Goiás and Maranhão. Through the analysis of the political tensions verified in the period, we propose to understand how the guerrillas were portrayed, also taking into account the hegemonic memory built about the dictatorship over the years.
