[19/05/2026] Submissions Open for International Special Dossier on Algorithmic Governmentality
In the centenary of Michel Foucault, A&S organizes a special issue to critically revisit contemporary modes of government and surveillance.
Organized by Marco Antônio Alves, Otávio Morato, and Thomas Berns (co-creator of the concept of algorithmic governmentality alongside Antoinette Rouvroy), the issue will bring together critical debates on the political, social, and technical impacts of algorithms in the contemporary world.
The dossier accepts articles in Portuguese, French, English, and Spanish.

The journal is also accepting articles outside the special issue, provided that they address topics related to its scope.
There is no minimum degree requirement for submission.
