Abstract

“How the athletics became River: A Derby from Minas Gerais in Argentina” was published in 2015 in Ludopédio, configuring itself as the author's first experiment in dialogue with the media and a certain journalistic speech, in which he addresses Atlético Mineiro and football South American. Here, rewritten, we have the awakening of Miro's interest in Argentine football after a conversation with Seu Revir, the owner of the newsstand. The teacher then decides to go to Buenos Aires, in search of places and football memories that mark the platinum presence in the trajectory of Tupiniquim football. On a Sunday that was supposed to be Argentine football, he became an Atlético and Cruzeiro between wines, debates, cigarettes and paradoxes... rivalry and friendship, Miro goes through discoveries that go beyond a club passion.
