Abstract

The comparative analysis of fables, moral and religious interpretation, metaphors, and allegories of the fox in Jewish literature, before and after the Medieval Ages, in comparison with other literary traditions (the Bible, Aesop, Greek and Latin Literature, and so on) is the main focus of this work. Therefore, the intent is to understand what these narratives of various kinds have in common and thus see how they entwined the signs of sacredness and (i)morality in a so-called postmodern era.
