Abstract

With the evolution of digital technologies, Digital Transformation has gone from being a trend for companies to becoming a necessity. The aim of the study was to identify the main strategic domains and their characteristics that would enable the proposition of a theoretical-analytical model for the implementation and analysis of Digital Transformation in organizations. The theoretical framework presented in this article is based on a literature review, using the Scopus and Web of Science databases as a source of consultation and data collection between 2017 and 2021. The concepts raised in this review were validated through two rounds of semi-structured interviews with people involved in Digital Transformation projects. Based on the models and concepts identified in the literature and in the interviews, this article presents a Digital Transformation implementation model made up of ten dimensions - 'customers', 'competition', 'data', 'innovation', 'value proposition', 'competencies', 'organizational agility', 'agile processes', 'organizational culture' and 'leadership' - which must be worked on in order to achieve this transformation
