Author Biography

Fátima Graciela Musri, Nacional University of San Juan (Argentina)

She is Teacher of Music specialized in Musical Theories, Master in Latin American Art (U.N. de Cuyo) and in History (U.N. de San Juan). She has completed a Doctorate in Arts, mention in Music (U.N. of Córdoba). She is Full Professor of Music History and Coordinator of the Music Studies Office at the National University of San Juan, where she directs projects, researchers and scholarship holders. She has served on juries for teaching competitions, reading and peer review committees at the national level. She has published articles in specialized magazines and the books: Músicos inmigrantes. La familia Colecchia en la actividad musical de San Juan (1880-1910) and Reconstrucción de los espacios socio-musicales en San Juan (1944-1970), by the Editorial de la Facultad de Filosofía, Humanidades y Artes de la U.N. de San Juan. He has co-edited the number 7 of the Revista Argentina de Musicología of the AAM. She produced the CD Musicians from Abruzzo in San Juan, documentary videos and radio programs. She is a member as a researcher of the project Nacionalismos y vanguardias musicales en Argentina, directed by Silvina Luz Mansilla (UBA).
