O início, o fim e o meio: algumas concepções e imagens de estudantes da EJA sobre menstruação, menopausa e climatério

Trata-se de pesquisa de intervenção no contexto da Educação em Sexualidade, desenvolvida na Educação de Jovens e Adultos. A análise das concepções trazidas pelos estudantes sobre fenômenos do ciclo menstrual feminino permitiu repensar alguns sentidos da Educação em Sexualidadeno contexto do Ensino de Ciências. Entre os estudantes, predominam imagens negativas sobre os fenômenos da menstruação e da menopausa, indicando a necessidade de trabalhos que permitam a ressignificação desses fenômenos. Decorre da pesquisa que o Ensino de Ciências deve ampliar seu escopo teórico a respeito dos temas da Educação em Sexualidade, sendo necessário repensar a formação de professores em favor de abordagens emancipatórias.
