Neste trabalho, vamos apresentar um estudo de caso sobre as etapas desenvolvidas na parceria universidade-escola, que correspondem à mobilização de licenciandos de Física e professores em ação em uma escola municipal do ensino fundamental, analisando as diversas possibilidades, propiciadas pelo trabalho via a pedagogia de projetos, implementadas nessa escola. Apresentamos as bases teóricas para a análise do desenvolvimento de um projeto na formação inicial e continuada de professores, destacando o seu papel como elemento motivador capaz de, por processos crítico-reflexivos, promover a emancipação de professores. Apresentamos um breve relato dos subprojetos planejados pelos professores e discutimos como a natureza desses projetos reflete as dificuldades enfrentadas por eles em se envolverem efetivamente na parceria. Por fim, avaliamos nossas estratégias de interação com a escola básica a fim de efetuar no futuro, no âmbito da pedagogia de projetos, uma pesquisa realmente colaborativa em co-autoria com os professores visando uma formação de qualidade.
