Flexibilidade cognitiva e hipermídia educacional na formação inicial de físicos-educadores

Considerando a abordagem prevista nas políticas públicas educacionais voltadas ao ensino médio de Física e a sua relação com os pressupostos da Teoria da Flexibilidade Cognitiva (SPIRO; JEHNG, 1990), tivemos como objetivo principal desta pesquisa investigar o desenvolvimento da flexibilidade cognitiva em estudantes do curso de Física – Licenciatura Plena Noturno da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Para isto, a pesquisa foi desenvolvida em quatro etapas: 1) implementação e avaliação de uma atividade, com a respectiva sistematização dos dados obtidos; 2) análise e problematização destes dados, de modo a investigar o desenvolvimento da flexibilidade cognitiva nos licenciandos; 3) análise de outras seis atividades realizadas, verificando se nas resoluções constavam aspectos que reforçavam a constatação obtida na segunda etapa; 4) aplicação de um questionário, de modo a investigar possíveis causas para os resultados obtidos nas etapas anteriores. Os resultados obtidos ao final da pesquisa apontam para um baixo desenvolvimento da flexibilidade cognitiva por parte dos licenciandos em Física, que, conforme constatamos, pode estar associado aos recursos educacionais presentes ao longo da trajetória escolar dos mesmos, na qual a hipermídia educacional ainda é pouco utilizada para mediar as práticas docentes.
