El lenguaje de la ciencia como obstáculo de aprendizaje de los conocimientos científicos e propuestas para superarlo

Este trabajo clasifica las dificultades que manifiesta el alumnado relacionadas con el lenguaje científico. Se analizan los aspectos problemáticos asociados con: la gramática de los textos de ciencia, los términos que utilizan los libros de texto de ciencias, los problemas que se emplean para la evaluación, las dificultades del alumnado para desarrollar capacidades de alta demanda conceptual, las escasas oportunidades que se proporcionan a los estudiantes para argumentar científicamente y las actitudes del profesorado ante estos problemas lingüísticos de aprendizaje. Finalmente, se presentan una serie de recomendaciones para integrar efectivamente la enseñanza del lenguaje de la ciencia en el aprendizaje de los contenidos científicos.Downloads
