The meanings given by the collegiate of the school of Dentistry as a forum for participation from the experience of a new curriculum

This paper presents the experience of implementation of the new curriculum Undergraduate, School of Dentistry, Federal University of Minas Gerais and describes the role of the Collegiate Course as a facilitator of teacher’ participation. This report was constructed on the basis of records, documents, and observations made by the committees of the Collegiate. It describes the trajectory of the new curriculum preparation, and the context of the mobilization of teachers. The report points to the incorporation of advisory in-stances with participation of teachers; institutionalization of the spaces of training support by School and University. The management of such processes and partnerships has led the Collegiate to legitimize their actions in the School of Dentistry, becoming an area responsible for quality in undergraduate education.
