Intersection Between Translation and Performance in the Haroldian Concept of Transcreation

This paper investigates the relationship between the fields of performance and translation studies, considering the concepts of performance by Erika Fischer-Lichte (2017) and Paul Zumthor (2014), based on the importance of the body in the production and reception of spectacular or literary works of art. In addition, it considered the textual production of Haroldo de Campos, whose contributions brought poetry to the museums, especially through its transcreation, understanding poetry in its verbal, visual and sound dimensions. In this sense, such texts were investigated, aiming to emphasize the relationship between the body, the performance, and the translation as a way of understanding dynamics and interdisciplinarity in the arts.
