Abstract

This essay presents the process of elaboration of the theatrical practice named Experimentation of Textures or Scenic Textures, which was carried out with children from Early Childhood Education. In a plot that composes the essay, some layers are juxtaposed: the re-elaboration of the theatrical making with young children inside the school; another understanding about the child's being and being in the world and the current perception of the researcher who often dialogues with a type of theatricality that is common both to school children, in a relationship of apprehension of the Theater, and in her daily life with her own nephew. It is the installed theatricality that emerges from the experimentation of materials and from the other relationships that arise between child-material, child-space and child-body.
