While the modernist art/education liberated the teaching of the traditionalist art making, the postmodern movement was reflected and inserted within the field of education as an epistemology that began to guide the learning of the learners, emphasizing not only more endogenous factors, affections to modernism, but also the exogenous factors. Based on this assumption, this article aims to highlight and defend the idea that the program "Roda Viva" aired in 1998 and available on Youtube as a registered memory, with the participation of Ana Mae Barbosa and several guests, was a complete way to confirm the transition from the modernist movement to the postmodernist movement, evidencing not only a single democratic medium as a founding part in the transmission of knowledge, however also inserting the audiovisual as an element belonging to this new type of teaching, besides proving the urgent need of such media in the continuing formation of the Educator and the Art/Educator.
