This essay presents part of a research carried out on the theme of the role of the theater teacher, focusing on the teacher-queer in the classroom. This is an excerpt from the author's course conclusion work, guided by the authoress, materializing in an epistolary and pedagogical dialogue between two theater teachers, one recently graduated and the other university professor, considered inspiring in the author's training path. The epistolary format, aligned with the cartographic method (MATTAR, 2017), helped to open space for to think about the impact of the figure of an LGBTQIA+ teacher at the forefront of artistic- pedagogical processes in theater in the contemporary unschooled school (MASSCHELEIN; SIMONS, 2021). In dialogue with authors such as Freire (2019), Larrosa (2017, 2019), Louro (2003), Masschelein and Simons (2021), it reflects on these themes and ends by posing other urgent questions to be confronted, expanding the discussion
