The present paper proposes to discuss the event in contemporary analogue photography, based on the notion of abstraction in Vilém Flusser and on an analysis of the memories linked to the way photographic apparatuses work. The concepts serve us to look at how the works of Brazilian photographers Claudia Andujar, Eustáquio Neves and Alice Miceli act as unstable, latent archives, constructed as a gesture of abstraction and fabrication of the real.
