The contribution that this work represents must be classified as relevant and original. Relevant in that it puts a "finger in the wound" on the multiple negative implications of digital platforms on political life, specifically on the quality of the democratic process, as well as the growing cultural polarization. The work is also original in the sense that it brings to the debate hitherto neglected assumptions such as the architecture of digital spaces, highlighting that these foster a culture of political and cultural tribalization.
