A world without books and without bookstores? is the title of Roger Chartier's most recent book, released in Brazil by Editora Letraviva. Coordinated by Guiomar de Grammont, who also wrote the preface, the work brings together articles from conferences and research by this well-known French author. The book contains a preface, six chapters - most of them written in Portuguese - and an epilogue with analyses of research recently published in the French, North-American, and Brazilian publishing markets.
