Author Biography

Victor Assis Brasil

Victor Assis Brasil, was a Brazilian saxophonist and one of the most acclaimed instrumentalists in Brazilian jazz. Twin brother of classical pianist João Carlos Assis Brasil, he began playing professionally in 1965, and later went on to study at Berklee College of Music, USA, between 1969 and 1973.
