Author Biography

Maurilio Andrade Rocha, University Federal of Minas Gerais (UFMG) (Brazil)

Professor at the School of Fine Arts at UFMG where he teaches subjects related to music and voice in theater. He is a member of the research group NACE (Núcleo de Pesquisa Transdisciplinar em Artes Cênicas) and a collaborating doctor at INET-MD (Instituto de Etnomusicologia - Música e Dança) at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. His research and publications have focused on the connections between popular music, theater and society.
