Abstract

Part 1 of the analytical study in two parts about structural aspects of Quassus for solo clarinet by Eli-Eri Moura. In this first article, we introduce the work’s main aims, justify the survey’s relevance, present the Moura musical ways and explain the compositional processes used by Moura in the piece and, finally, provide a structural analysis of Quassus first part.
