Este artículo aborda la necesidad urgente expresada por los estudiantes de recibir información más específica relacionada con la práctica estructurada y efectiva. Los estudios empíricos analizan el tiempo que el estudiante invierte en el estudio y cómo, eventualmente, esto puede influir en su nivel de rendimiento. Una investigación sobre la calidad y cantidad del estudio reúne los puntos clave de la práctica deliberada adaptada a los estudiantes de contrabajo. Se introduce una teoría sobre la adquisición de habilidades, dividida en tres fases. Se dan ejemplos sobre cómo el estudiante puede transformar estos conocimientos en términos prácticos, utilizando un conjunto de conceptos necesarios para la preparación de una interpretación convincente.
