O uso de analogias como recurso didático por professores de biologia no ensino médio
Abstract
Esta pesquisa insere-se na perspectiva do uso da linguagem metafórica e analógica no ensino de ciências. As analogias foram tomadas na perspectiva de nossa pesquisa como recursos didáticos disponíveis no processo da construção das noções científicas no âmbito de observações que foram realizadas dentro da sala de aula. Estas observações foram empregadas com o objetivo de investigar as formas de utilização de analogias e/ou metáforas por professores do Ensino Médio na disciplina de Biologia como recursos didáticos em sua prática pedagógica. Foram observadas seis professoras de 1ª e 2ª séries do Ensino Médio. Destas, apenas nas aulas de uma professora não identificamos nenhum uso de analogias. Porém, quando entrevistamos esta professora a mesma confirma o uso deste tipo de recurso em sua prática pedagógica. As outras cinco professoras usaram freqüentemente analogias, totalizando 108. Em relação ao nível de organização das analogias utilizadas pelos professores encontramos nove formas de organização. Além disso, as analogias utilizadas pelos professores ainda podiam apresentar-se sob dois formatos distintos: analogias verbais e analogias pictorico-verbal. A maioria das analogias utilizadas pelos professores foram verbais.
