Os aspectos sócio-culturais e teórico-metodológicos recomendados pelo PCNEM: as contribuições dos livros didáticos de Química para os objetivos do Ensino Médio

Na análise dos livros didáticos, o PNLEM 2007 adotou critérios sócio-culturais e teórico-metodológicos de caráter qualificativo. Tais aspectos refletem as proposições da literatura para que a educação extrapole o ensino de conceitos abordando também a educação sobre e pela ciência. Neste artigo analisaram-se como os livros didáticos de Química dos estudantes, aprovados em tal programa, abordaram tais aspectos. Para isso, todas as referências a tais critérios foram extraídas e enquadradas nas seguintes categorias: (i) ausente, (ii) presente, (iii) parcialmente explorada no livro. Os resultados indicam que alguns livros propõem o rompimento com a primazia do conteudismo, que outros ainda priorizam a abordagem de grande quantidade de conceitos e de exercícios de fixação e outros ainda que exploram os aspectos analisados, porém, apenas a título de ilustração do conteúdo. Isto mostra que é importante que o professor receba formação de qualidade para interpretar a concepção de ensino que o livro propõe.Downloads
