Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.

Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:
- The contents of the papers are the exclusive responsibility of their author.
- The total or partial reproduction of the works published in the Journal is allowed, as long as the source is cited.
- By submitting their work to the Journal, the authors certify that they are of their own authorship and unpublished (not published in any digital or printed media).
- The copyright of the articles published in the Journal are of the authors, with first publication rights reserved for this periodical.
- For dissemination purposes, REVICE may replicate the works published in this journal in other media such as social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Academia.Edu, etc.).
- The Journal is publicly accessible, therefore, the authors who submit works agree that they are free to use.
- When verifying any illegality, fraud, or other attitude that puts in doubt the correctness of the publication, in particular the practice of plagiarism, the work will be automatically rejected.
- If the work has already been published, it will be immediately removed from the journal's base, its subsequent citation linked to it being prohibited and the cancellation of said publication will be communicated. In case the procedure for the retraction of the work starts, the authors will be informed in advance, and the right to full defense is guaranteed.
- The personal data provided by the authors will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication, and will not be made available for other purposes or to third parties.
Self-archiving
Self-archiving of papers is allowed as of the closing of the number they are in.
Privacy Statement
In accordance with Law No. 13,709/2018 (Brazilian General Data Protection Law – LGPD), the personal data provided to the Journal of State Sciences (Revice/UFMG) will be used exclusively for the services rendered by this publication and will not be made available for other purposes or to third parties.
Therefore, both during the submission process and throughout the evaluation stages, the personal data and metadata of authors and reviewers are protected under strict security and confidentiality standards.
Metadata are used solely to ensure proper indexing and the integrity of the editorial workflow. Revice/UFMG guarantees that such records will not be used for commercial tracking activities or shared with external databases.
Under the double-blind review system, the preservation of authors’ identities is prioritized to ensure the impartiality of the evaluation process, guaranteeing that sensitive information remains restricted exclusively to the editorial board.
At the end of the publication cycle, or in the event of archiving, the processing of such data will follow the secure storage or disposal protocols established by the applicable legislation.
The Journal of State Sciences (Revice/UFMG) adopts the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Creative Commons is a non-profit organization responsible for open licenses and other legal tools that allow creators to share their work.
In this regard, by submitting a manuscript for publication, authors acknowledge and authorize the dissemination and publication of their works under the terms of this license.
