Abstract

A recent work the french artist Pascal Convert, one element in a extensive work on some historical calamities, proposes a very different experience. The pale work of Pascal Convert appears, in fact, as an interpretation of another image – an image that was neither thought out nor produced as a work of art, but whose purpose was to inform about an event , to bring out into the cold light of day a fact that arouses our indignation: it is an image – in color – taken by Georges Mérillon , a Gamma agency photographer, in a city of Kosovo on January 29, 1990 .
