Pela primeira vez na história moderna um século foi registrado mais por imagens do que por palavras. Quais são os efeitos das imagens do século XX em nossa memória? Em tom de crônica, como num relato de viagem, o presente artigo aborda algumas impressões sobre a cidade de Los Angeles - CA, tão representada nos filmes industriais exibidos internacionalmente. Uma cidade que sobrevive graças à mitologia que difundiu sobre si própria.
