In the late 1930s, emerges from Bahia’s cinematic context Alexander Robatto Filho that develops, for almost thirty years, an impressive filmography leaving as legacy important films, with documentary and artistic value to the history of cinema in Brazil. The interest was to record the everyday, with preference for the themes of popular culture, making it clear in the scene set, the professionalism and aesthetic care who chose the image as poetic force to express the world around them.
