Faticidade e polidez em vereditos de vídeos tutoriais do YouTube

Resumo

O objetivo deste estudo é investigar como/se a comunicação fática (Zuckerman, 2016), bem como o exercício da polidez (Locher; Watts, 2005; Miller, 2008), atuam na emissão de vereditos não-oficiais (Austin, 1975; Labinaz; Sbisà, 2021), emitidos em vídeos tutoriais do YouTube. Os dados foram coletados em abril e maio de 2020, por meio da lista dos vídeos mais visualizados na área de informática básica. A análise foi feita seguindo uma metodologia qualitativa e visou à identificação de recursos ligados à polidez relacional e à linguagem fática empregados nos vereditos. Os resultados revelaram que os vereditos foram construídos nesses vídeos com o objetivo de legitimar a informação comunicada, o que foi feito juntamente com o emprego de elementos ligados à polidez e ao trabalho relacional. O papel da comunicação fática foi também atestado como um traço significativo da comunicação não-oficial na esfera digital.
