Abstract

This article, based on the writings about poetic and musical influence of Harold Bloom, Joseph Straus, Kevin Korsyn and Charles Rosen, proposes a possible analytical model that will provide the necessary tools to process the phenomenom influence on music, as well as discuss a possible terminology that might allow the categorization of such phenomenon.

  • Lucas de Paula Barbosa, Federal University of Goiás

    He is a master's student in music with a concentration in Music Creation and Expression, research focus: Musical Performance and its Interfaces, instrument - Piano, at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), where he develops studies on analysis and intertextuality in music under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lúcia Barrenechea. He holds a degree in Performance, Instrument - Piano from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU).

  • Lúcia Barrenechea, Federal University of Goiás

    is a pianist and researcher, graduated in music from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) in 1988. She obtained a Master's degree in music from Boston University, USA (1991), and became a member of the faculty at the School of Music and Performing Arts at UFG in 1994. She holds a Ph.D. in music from the University of Iowa, USA (2000), with the thesis "Heitor Villa-Lobos’ Hommage à Chopin: A Musical Tribute.
