Abstract

Último retrato (Last portrait) is a chamber song composed by Dinorá de Carvalho with lyrics by Maria Antonia. Although composed in the mid-1950s, the song's score was never published. It was only in 2023 that it became possible to gather a set of musical documentary sources, including instrumental parts and a recording, enabling the critical edition of the complete piece to be produced. The objective of this work is to publish the score of the voice and piano version of Último Retrato , finally making it accessible to the public.
